The Monastery is located very close to the main square.
The main entrance to the Church is from Wszystkich Swietych Square (All Saints Square) but the entrance to the hall where the Welcome Cocktail will be held is from the other side of the building that is from the park Planty.

Welcome party is meant to get together in an informal atmosphere, with no speeches, just to meet other participants. The official opening of the conference will be on May the 2nd in the morning.
The registration desk will be open - so you can register during the welcome party, if you want to avoid a queue in the morning next day.
The Franciscan Monastery was erected in 1237 and it is the only monastery in Poland, which has continued to exist all the time to our times. The monastery church was consecrated in 1249. Over the centuries both the monastery and the church were destroyed several times by fires and war fares, however they were rebuilt every time. Currently, some of the monastery halls are hosting classical music concerts, cultural events and conferences.
